(Re-)Legitimizing Astrology

It is so liberating to finally publish this – essentially everything I hope everyone to know about astrology. Please circulate(!):

www.astro.com/astrology/in_po_relegit_astro_e.htm

Shoutout to Astrodienst – in an time when there is infinite unreliable information about astrology out there, it continues to maintain the integrity of the practice, publishing only legitimate information for and by reputable practitioners.

Many thanks to my teacher, Rick Tarnas, and everyone at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) – I feel so blessed to be a part of this academic-mystical tradition and lineage.

The Third Harmony Retreat

Have you got a community that can use nonviolence?

Starting today, I will be facilitating Third Harmony retreats on behalf of the Metta Center for Nonviolence. Email me if you’re interested in hosting!

Global conflict is at alarming levels and there is no better time than now to act. Humanity is recognizing now more than ever that violence is only creating more violence. This retreat is aimed to develop the practice of nonviolence – the Third Harmony – in our lives and for the world.

We will use practical tools provided by the Metta Center for Nonviolence – the Third Harmony book, film, and board game – to focus our time together. It will also include a workshop in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by Marshall Rosenberg. Expect introspective, social, as well as ritual modalities in this retreat.

This is great for couples, community development, activists, and those on personal journeys.

Kava and Sound Ceremony

I am so excited to announce a new kava and sound healing workshop that I will be co-facilitating with my dear friend (former Broadway Miss Saigon!) Kristine Linares at Ascension Quantum Wellness:

Welcome the coming of Spring with intention and join us in this ceremony. Develop a healthier relationship with alcohol and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a healing psychoactive journey.

Grounded in the methods of Stanislav Grof’s psychedelic research, this experiential workshop is designed to shift and heal blockages in the unconscious using kava and a sound journey.

Remember This Always

The Metta Center for Nonviolence is working on translating Anna Ikeda‘s poem, Remember This Always, in as many languages as possible. Here is the video of one that Papa, Mama, and I translated and recited together in Pilipino, Lagi Mo Itong Tandaan:

Israel, Palestine, and the Third Harmony

There aren’t enough words or feelings to express the atrocities between Israel and Palestine, now and throughout history. The following has been my response to people, hoping to help in some way, who have been asking me what they can do. This article is intended to help us address the issue, using People Power, from the root cause:

…a self-assessment. Here is a way to examine our biases and explore what more we can do to help attain harmony between Israel and Palestine.

So honored to have Ela Gandhi (granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi) give her feedback and engage so closely with my article(!):

Wonderful presentation of the Third Harmony. Thank you for sharing… I think your tool is a brilliant document to engage and bring out our own hidden prejudices before we even embark on trying to convince others. We plan to use it in a group…
